Minutes for August 2018 Club Meeting

Officer Reports:

Call to Order, Welcome Guests

Vice President - Oct 27 & 28 is next Technician Class, question about possible General and Extra classes next year

Treasurer Report- 1581 last month, 1783.65 current

Secretary -

Trustee - Burtch has new antenna thanks to Brian LaFlure, DMR needs 150' feedline, our well known county officials are retiring soon

Radio Officer - not present, ARES Connect open to registrations, continue to log time on our volunteer site

Hospital - Quaterly meeting Sept 13th 7:30am, Sept 19th noon to 1 quaterly tabletop at muni cntr,

Board of Directors - 501c3 status - researching category, if club wants to go forward, $400 fee, qualify for EZ form, club needs mailing address, Motion to move forward with 501c3 and PO box passed unanimously. PO box must be in Warren County. There will be annual tax forms that will need to be done (irs 990ez form), bylaws will need to be checked, Oct is election time, will check on officer terms (2 years?)

Start time and location for Sept meeting - 6:30, Queensbury Middle School Library

JOTA Oct 20th, Saratoga Hamfest Sept 9th

Public Svc - Rosie's Walk, Adk Dist Fest

Club Picnic pics - next year last weekend in July

All club picnic in Alb - W2WCR won award for best banner, Youth club won 2nd place

Oct 6th - SET - just check-in and drive around if possible

More RACES net participants needed
